I have the honour, in accordance with Colonial Regulation 265, to request your sanction for supplementary expenditure of $19,000 for Subsistence of Prisoners, in respect of which $210,000 is provided under Head 21, Sub-
head 19, of the Estimates for 1935.

The excess on this vote is due to a further

for this year (to the end of October) is 1790, as against
1610 for 1934, 1472 for 1933 and 1114 for 1932.
